Earth Day Celebration: Music and story telling performances

🌎 Every year on April 22, Earth Day marks the largest celebration and environmental protest for our planet and home.

🌐 Recognized as the largest secular observance in the world, it’s marked by more than a billion people every year as a day of advocacy and action, humankind seeking its own survival. We’re proud to join the celebration this weekend, and inviting you to join the movement as well! This year, we’re celebrating nature and culture through a curation of music events at Dar Bellarj and Café Clock, including story telling, a collective ftour and more. Hope to see you there!

Over the years, Café Clock has placed itself at the heart of cultural life in Marrakech. Aside from serving great food and drinks, this medina venue has also been a space to introduce elements of Moroccan culture to both Moroccans and visitors alike, through workshops, jam sessions, live music, culinary courses, story telling events and more.

This Saturday, you’re welcome to join us to break fast together at ftour time, for a blissful night of traditional musical performances and story telling. Saturday night you’ll hear Fouad singing Amdah, Imad the Oud Mallum, Hikawati Mohammed Koucham telling stories in English and Master Hikawati Azaliya telling stories in Arabic.
