The workshop will be delivered in English with some French and Darija translation available.
Join artist-publisher Heiba Lamara for a workshop exploring the possibilities of self-publishing and its relationship to seed-saving and growing. The workshop invites the collective efforts of the participants to expand the contents of the installation by creating one page each towards the communal publication. We will open a reflective space to weave together our plant knowledge.
- Enjoy an introduction to self-publishing practices and everyday tools and equipment you can use
- Create your own page toward the communal publication through drawing, writing and collage
- Duplicate your page to be shared with fellow participants.
Heiba Lamara is an artist, publisher and gardener whose work explores independent print and archival practices. In particular she looks at zine-making as a methodological and material practice, to think across disciplines, ecologies and communities. She is Assistant Editor of OOMK Zine and co-founder of Rabbits Road Press.
