By invitation only, selected journalists will visit Palm Orchids Nursery to explore and taste local products from rural cooperatives and small-scale agroecological farmers, organised by Moroccan Biodiversity and Livelihoods Association (MBLA) and Réseau des Initiatives pour l’Agroécologie au Maroc (RIAM), and will participate in a pottery workshop, offered by Ahmed Amine Dhioui. They will visit Jnane Tamsna for a tour of the permaculture gardens and EthnoBotanica Café and Shop, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, they will travel to Lalla Takerkous to meet the women of Cooperative Al Oulfa, to learn about cheesemaking and taste of goat cheese.
