Join us at Marrakech Henna Art Cafe for a seminar on natural henna. The cafe is the only henna provider in Morocco that has been awarded the International Certificate for Natural Henna Arts. Professional naqasha Nadia Ghoulam will be on hand to demonstrate all steps of the art of henna from mixing the henna powder to aftercare of the completed design. Cafe co-owner Lori Gordon will discuss the process and explain the dangers of the “black henna” that is often found on Djemaa el Fna. A facilitator will also be on hand to translate English and Arabic into French, and the seminar will be held on one of our open air terraces. Covid precautions are followed at the cafe, including the wearing of masks inside. Located in the central medina, the cafe is just a three minute stroll from Djemaa el Fna, on the street that leads to Badi Palace.
